Make a to-do list and add everything to it that comes to your mind. Start from what needs to be done in the morning as you get up till the time you leave.
It is always advisable to leave as early in the day as possible.
Have everything loaded into the moving truck under your strictest supervision.
Get a sitter for the kids and the pets because you need to focus all your energies on the move.
Exchange phone numbers with the driver to keep a check on his progress as well as for him to be able to get in touch with you.
Make sure that the driver has the right address and directions to the new place.
